“You don’t have a soul.
You are a Soul.
You have a body.”
– C.S. Lewis
Who you are is much deeper than who you appear to be on the surface. On the surface you appear to be a physical body, mind and personality; a person who may different roles as mother, father, spouse, son, daughter, boss, employee, or friend…
But on a deeper level, you are much more than that. On a deeper level you are composed of pure positive energy, an infinite field of consciousness which has always existed and can never be destroyed. The real you did not begin in your mother’s womb, and will not disappear at the time of your physical death.
There are many different names for the Real You: spirit, soul, consciousness, life force, Christ Consciousness, God, awareness, Buddha nature, divine spark, etc, etc. It doesn’t matter what you call it, only that you are aware that it exists. This isn’t a religious concept. You’ll resonate with this information as truth when your mind is ready to receive it.
When you become aware of this aspect of yourself, you’ll begin to free yourself from the confines of all the fears, doubts, worries, and limitations of your physical mind. Your focus will turn away from mere survival, towards the evolution of your true nature and the fulfillment of your highest purpose. You’ll begin to enjoy the gift that each day brings as a spiritual being having a human experience, even during your toughest times. Your intuition will blossom and you’ll begin to pay more attention to your inner guidance system and less attention to the distraction of external influences. Your life will begin to take on meaning. You’ll realize you are deeply interconnected not only with every life form on the planet but also with the planet herself.
The secret of life is to live in alignment with this aspect of you that is invisible and indestructible. In doing so, your life will begin to express all the harmonic qualities of your true nature: peace, love, joy, abundance, harmony, wisdom, beauty, prosperity, and creativity, just to name a few.
“What we are looking for, is what is looking.”
This is really kool, and it even rings of truth. It would be interesting to learn how such a journey begins.
Thank you for the article, much to think about 🙂
